1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account data: email address, display name, handle, and optionally a profile photo
  • Content: posts, comments, predictions, and prediction lists you create
  • OAuth data: if you sign in via Google or Twitter, we receive your profile information from those providers
  • Wallet address: if you register a wallet for creator payments

We also collect usage data automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction timestamps.

2. How we use your information

  • To operate and improve the platform
  • To authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • To display your public prediction track record and profile
  • To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
  • To send Telegram alerts for prediction resolutions (if configured)

3. Public data

Posts, predictions, comments, handles, and prediction statistics are public by default. Anyone can view them. Predictions are permanently recorded and cannot be deleted.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Service providers: MongoDB Atlas (database), Redis (cache), Amazon S3 (media), Resend (email), Telegram (alerts)
  • Market data providers: CoinGecko, Binance (public API, no personal data)
  • Law enforcement: when required by applicable law

5. Cookies and storage

We use an HTTP-only session cookie for authentication. No third-party tracking cookies are set. Local storage is used for UI preferences only.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account exists. Public prediction records are retained indefinitely to preserve leaderboard integrity. You may request deletion of your account; public predictions associated with deleted accounts are anonymized.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, HTTP-only cookies, and bcrypt password hashing. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong, unique password.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
