How It Works
Everything you need to know about predictions, scoring, and the virtual portfolio.
The core idea
Every prediction is locked the moment you post it. No editing. No deleting. The platform auto-resolves it at expiry using real market price data. Your track record builds itself — verified, permanent, impossible to cherry-pick.
Post a prediction
Attach a call to any post. Pick a coin, direction (long or short), target price, timeframe, and conviction level.
It's locked immediately
Once posted, the entry price, direction, and target are frozen. No modifications allowed. Ever.
Auto-resolves at expiry
At the exact expiry time, the platform fetches the real market price and resolves the prediction. Hit or miss — your record updates.
Prediction rules
Direction
Long (price goes up) or Short (price goes down) relative to your entry price at post time.
Target price
Your price target. Works like a limit order — if the market hits your target before expiry, the prediction is marked as a hit immediately.
Timeframe
Choose 1D, 3D, 1W, 2W, 1M, 3M, or a custom window (minimum 1 hour). The prediction expires at the end of that window.
Conviction
Low, Medium, or High. Affects accuracy weighting (0.5× / 1× / 2×) and your virtual bet sizing.
Your target acts like a limit order. If BTC is at $60,000 and you call Long with a $65,000 target — the prediction hits the moment the price touches $65,000, even if it later drops before expiry. Early hit = win.
If the price moves against your direction by your liquidation threshold before hitting your target, the prediction is force-resolved as a loss. This mirrors a real leveraged position being liquidated.
How resolution works
| Scenario | Result | P&L |
|---|---|---|
| Price hits your target before expiry | Hit ✓ | Positive — based on return % × bet |
| Price at expiry is in your direction vs entry | Hit ✓ | Positive — based on actual return % |
| Price at expiry is against your direction | Miss ✗ | Negative — lose your bet amount |
| Price hits liquidation level before expiry | Liquidated ✗ | Full bet lost immediately |
Virtual portfolio
Every user starts with $100,000 virtual capital. This is not real money — it's a scoring mechanism that mirrors real trading discipline.
Starting balance
$100,000 virtual USD. Each prediction requires a bet amount deducted from your balance until resolution.
Wins & losses
Correct predictions add P&L to your balance. Wrong predictions subtract the bet amount. Your balance reflects your cumulative trading decisions.
Reclaim (refill)
If your balance drops to $10,000 or below, you can inject an additional $100,000 on top of your current balance. Each refill is recorded on your public profile — the bust count is visible to everyone.
Portfolio leaderboard
Ranked by current virtual balance. The highest balance wins — but your bust count tells the full story.
Every refill is logged. Your profile shows total refill count and history. A trader with $500,000 balance and 0 refills is very different from one with $500,000 balance and 10 refills. The refill adds $100,000 on top of your remaining balance — it does not reset to $100,000.
Accuracy & scoring
You need at least 5 resolved predictions in the last 90 days to appear on the leaderboard. This filters out one-hit wonders.
Timeframes
| Label | Window | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Custom (⚡ Scalp style) | Any window < 1D (min 1 hour) | Intraday momentum plays |
| 1D | 1 day | Daily swing setups |
| 3D | 3 days | Short multi-day setups |
| 1W | 1 week | Weekly swing trades |
| 2W | 2 weeks | Multi-week position trades |
| 1M | 1 month | Trend following |
| 3M | 3 months | Macro thesis, cycle calls |
Common questions
Can I edit or delete a prediction?
No. Once posted, a prediction is permanent. This is the point — a verifiable track record only has value if nothing can be altered.
What happens to my predictions if I delete my account?
Your account is removed but your predictions, posts, and track record remain on the platform — anonymized. The leaderboard and resolution history depend on immutable data; individual records cannot be retroactively erased.
What price data is used for resolution?
Binance or KuCoin OHLCV data depending on the coin. The exact price at the expiry timestamp is used for end-of-window resolution.
What if a coin gets delisted or data is unavailable?
Predictions that can't be resolved after 48 hours due to missing price data are force-resolved as a miss to prevent permanent pending status.
Does the refill reset my accuracy?
No. Refilling adds $100,000 on top of your current balance — it does not reset to $100,000. Your prediction history, accuracy, and resolved count are never affected.
